Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an on-site events operations professional to manage setup, execution, and teardown for exhibitions and events. You will supervise carpentry, electrical, and staging vendors and coordinate schedules to ensure timely delivery.

The role requires a Diploma/Bachelor in Event Management or related field and 2–3 years of hands-on event/logistics experience. Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays, plus own transport, are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• 2–3 years hands-on experience in event/exhibition operations or logistics.
• Basic understanding of booth construction and safety SOPs.
• Willingness to work flexible hours (nights, weekends, public holidays) during build-up/teardown.
• Possess own transport and strong crisis management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate build-up, execution, and teardown schedules at event venues.
• Supervise subcontractors, carpentry, electrical, and staging vendors on-site.
• Ensure adherence to venue regulations, safety guidelines, and setup timelines.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients and vendors on-site to resolve technical issues promptly.
• Conduct post-event inventory checks and equipment returns.
