Job summary

Farben Information Technology is seeking an experienced Azure cloud engineer to own OCR and intelligent document processing delivery for an enterprise insurance environment in Kuala Lumpur. You will translate business needs into scalable Azure-based solutions and provide first-line support for live services.

The role is fully onsite, five days a week, with after-hours deployments and scheduled maintenance windows.

Qualifications

5+ years in Azure cloud engineering, solution engineering, or platform delivery.
Hands-on experience with Azure AI Document Intelligence (Form Recognizer) and related Azure services.
Understanding of Azure RBAC, encryption, secret management, and audit logging.
REST API development, with proficiency in Python, C#, or .NET.
Experience delivering OCR or intelligent document processing solutions in production.

Responsibilities

Gather and clarify business requirements for OCR and document digitisation initiatives and translate to technical design.
Design OCR extraction solutions using Azure AI Document Intelligence and Azure services.
Assess document volumes and translate into infrastructure capacity and sizing.
Collaborate with solution architects, project managers, and delivery teams on design, costing and implementation.
Submit infrastructure requests and verify deployed configurations.
Provide first-line production support and triage incidents with escalation as needed.
Support monthly security patch cycles across environments and participate in disaster recovery exercises.
Provide progress updates and briefings to senior leadership.
