Job summary

KnC Optical Sdn Bhd is seeking a full-time Optometrist to perform comprehensive eye examinations, refraction, and visual assessments across multiple on-site locations in Greater Johor Bahru. The role includes prescribing spectacles and contact lenses, advising customers on eyewear options, and maintaining accurate clinical records.

Qualifications

• Degree in Optometry with valid professional registration or eligibility to practice with MOC.
• Strong clinical skills in eye examinations, refraction, contact lens fitting, and basic ocular health screening.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to explain clinical findings clearly and educate customers.
• Customer service and retail skills to support sales and in-store experience.
• Ability to work on-site in Greater Johor Bahru on a full-time basis.
• Experience in optical retail or clinical practice is an advantage; multilingual ability is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations including refraction and visual acuity assessment.
• Prescribe and fit spectacles and contact lenses; advise on lens options and eyewear solutions.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with professional standards and hygiene protocols.
• Collaborate with retail team to support sales with professional recommendations.
