Job summary

USS Property Services in Nilai, Malaysia, is seeking a hands-on maintenance technician for a full-time, on-site role. You will inspect toilets, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, painting, tiling, welding, and other building maintenance tasks, and support MEP inspections to ensure systems run reliably.

The position requires a minimum of 2 years' experience with a positive attitude and the ability to start immediately.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Possessing a plumber certificate is an added advantage.
• Able to start work immediately.
• SPM or IKM Tahap 3 required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect toilets, plumbing installations and sanitary fittings and other building maintenance-related works such as carpentry, masonry, painting, tiling, welding (mechanical & electrical), and any other building maintenance-related works as and when required.
• Inspect car parking lots and ensure that the paint delineating the car parking bays is clear and repaint bays when necessary.
• Assist other technicians in the inspection and checking of all MEP installations to ensure their functioning and to ensure that regular scheduled servicing of the installations is carried out as part of preventive maintenance.
• Check and inspect all lighting, fittings and timers to ensure their functionality.
• Attend to emergency and maintenance calls in the building during and after office hours.
• Attend to enquiries or complaints pertaining to common property.
