Job summary

Damante M is seeking a Project Engineer to assist in planning, coordination, execution and monitoring of engineering projects in Malaysia. You will collaborate with clients, consultants, suppliers and site personnel to ensure safety, timeliness and quality.

The candidate should have a degree in Electrical, Electronic, and Mechatronic Engineering, with fresh graduates encouraged and up to 3 years of experience in related roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, and Mechatronic Engineering.
• Fresh graduates encouraged; 1–3 years preferred in project coordination or engineering execution.
• Basic knowledge of project planning, coordination, implementation and progress monitoring.
• Able to read and understand technical drawings, Bills of Quantities and contract documents.
• Able to prepare progress reports, method statements, work schedules and technical submissions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Project is an advantage.
• Good written and verbal communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Able to coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors and project teams.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work at project sites and travel outstation; may work beyond normal hours.
• Possess a valid Class D driving licence; CIDB Green Card is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in planning, coordination, execution and monitoring of engineering projects.
• Work closely with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors and site personnel.
• Ensure project activities are completed safely, on schedule and in accordance with technical specs and quality standards.
