Job summary

EMS PROGRESS SDN. BHD. is seeking Biomass Executives to support the supervision stage of a biomass project in Baleh, Kapit, Sarawak.

The role is full-time and on-site, reporting to the Lead Forester to monitor progress, coordinate activities, and document site records. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Forestry or Environmental Science with at least 5 years of relevant biomass experience; site operations or supervision experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Forestry or Environmental Science.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in biomass removal, timber harvesting or land clearing.
• Experience in site operations or project supervision is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Full time at site to assist the Lead Forester for execution of the Consultancy Services for the project.
• Ensure Contractor's Compliances with the project plan, to any Conditions of Approval issued by the authorities and any other legislative requirements.
• Monitor Contractors' HSSE Compliances Performances.
• Conduct site inspection, audit and attend all meetings including to ensure closure to all findings as required.
• Coordinate work interfaces among all disciplines and with other contractor/consultant/stakeholders.
• Manage and maintain site documentation, including inspection records, progress reports, compliance records and relevant correspondence.
• Monitor daily work progress and report site issues, non-compliances and potential project risks to the Lead Forester.
