Job summary

Elsa Talent is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to perform design analysis and calculations for offshore oil and gas steel structures. You will review drawings, perform lifting verifications, and help establish mooring and gangway procedures.

The role requires broad offshore experience, strong coordination skills, and adherence to safety and project standards. Based in Malaysia, on-site participation in HUC activities is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in structural/civil engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant engineering and commissioning experience, including at least 3 years in a similar role.
• Experience in structural engineering, particularly steel structures for oil and gas facilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural design analysis and engineering calculations for steel structures in offshore oil and gas facilities.
• Review structural drawings and structural cutting plans for accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Carry out engineering calculations and verifications, including lifting analyses for offshore lifting operations.
• Establish soft mooring parameters and verify gangway procedures.
• Prepare job cards, work packs, and other engineering documentation for Hook-Up and Commissioning (HUC) activities.
• Provide on-site engineering support and perform fieldwork during HUC execution.
• Ensure all structural engineering activities comply with project specifications, company standards, and safety requirements.
