JOB TITLE: Offshore Installation Manager

LOCATION: Offshore – PM 304

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Operations & Maintenance
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance activities of PM 304 block, including planning and coordination.
    • Ensure equipment is operated as per Petrofac Operating Procedures.
    • Maintain equipment according to task lists in the CMMS, with full documentation of maintenance records.
    • Ensure the production system operates within the parameters of the Monthly Target Letter.
    • Submit purchase requisitions for spare parts in a timely manner.
    • Report anomalies or equipment integrity issues using the relevant procedures.
  2. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)
    • Establish and reinforce a strong and sustainable safety culture aligned with company objectives.
    • Ensure compliance with the PM 304 Safety Case for all offshore activities.
    • Implement and monitor the Control of Work system without exception.
    • Ensure all activities comply with company safety and operational procedures.
    • Manage Critical Operating Integrity Information (COII) in accordance with company guidelines.
    • Ensure implementation of risk mitigation measures specified by the onshore teams.
    • Participate in and support incident investigations, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
  3. Emergency Response
    • Lead emergency preparedness and response, acting as the Site Emergency Commander.
    • Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure emergency response plans are up to date and effective.
  4. Workforce Welfare
    • Ensure the welfare, safety, and wellbeing of all offshore personnel are properly managed and maintained.
  5. Documentation & Compliance
    • Review and approve safety and integrity-critical documents, such as Management of Change (MoC), Operational Risk Assessments, etc.
    • Review and validate critical procedures related to safety and operational integrity.
  6. Planning & Budgeting
    • Participate in the company’s annual Work Programme & Budget planning exercise, providing offshore operational input and insights.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor degree or diploma in the field of engineering.
  • Good knowledge & understanding in the implementation of Asset Integrity Management System (AIMS), including Major Accident Hazard Management; and
  • Application of Performance Standards for Safety Critical Equipment.
  • OIM Controlling Emergencies (OIMCE)
  • Valid Major Emergency Management Initial Response (MEMIR)
  • Valid TBOSIET issued by OPITO
  • Valid Offshore Medical Certificate

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Malaysia’s Occupational Safety & Health Act 1994;
  • Usage of a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), preferably Maximo;
  • A Control of Work or Permit to Work system;
  • Knowledge in the requirements of International Ship and Port Facility Security Code;
  • Management of a facility equipped with gas lift, water injection and metering systems;
  • Regulatory requirements by SOLAS and Classification Society; and
  • Application of a facility-specific Safety/HSE Case.
