Officer - Warehouse & Inventory Management

Bosch has been present in Malaysia since 1923, represented by Robert Bosch Sdn Bhd, with offices located in Selangor and Penang. In Malaysia, Bosch has diversified businesses in Mobility Solutions, Industrial Technology, Consumer Goods, and Energy and Building Technology. The company has three manufacturing plants in Penang providing Car Multimedia, Power Tools, and Automotive Steering systems. In 2017, Malaysia contributed sales of RM 615 million (127 million euro) and employed more than 2,800 associates.

Responsibilities
  1. Serve as SAP system role expert, maintaining and implementing SAP upgrades.
  2. Train team members on SAP workflow processes.
  3. Lead SAP/WMS improvement initiatives.
  4. Drive process continuous improvement activities, including daily section meetings, Point CIP activities, and Bosch Production System (BPS) projects.
  5. Establish standards for SAP/WMS workflows.
  6. Collaborate with other functions and overseas teams to enhance SAP/WMS systems.
  7. Manage ASA Hub Inventory, oversee movement and accuracy through periodic inventory counts and related activities.
  8. Lead activities to improve inventory accuracy.
  9. Monitor External Warehouse LSP’s KPI performance and recommend improvements.
  10. Assess external warehouse storage capacity and capabilities through monitoring and analysis.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate superior.
Minimum Requirements
  • Degree in any discipline with relevant work experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Logistics Operations and/or as a SAP/WMS system expert.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with SAP or WMS systems.
  • Background in 3PL Warehousing Management.
  • Independent and mature mindset.
  • Strong project leadership and communication skills across all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated with high discipline.
  • Positive attitude and mindset.
  • Results-oriented.
  • Team player with cooperative attitude.
  • Flexible to undertake ad-hoc assignments or projects.
