The Safety & Health Officer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining safety and health programs to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. This role involves conducting safety inspections, investigating accidents and incidents, developing safety training programs, and ensuring compliance with relevant safety regulations. The Officer will work closely with various departments to promote a safety-conscious culture and prevent workplace hazards.
Develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
Conduct risk assessments and implement control measures to mitigate hazards.
Promote a safety-conscious culture within the organization through awareness campaigns and training initiatives.
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Health, or a related field.
Relevant safety certifications, such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST), are preferred.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
Ability to identify and assess workplace hazards.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and training skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
