Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a QA Officer to manage the QA and Technical Support department in Shah Alam, Malaysia. You will ensure product quality meets customer specifications and oversee inspection, testing and calibration of equipment.

You will identify training needs, coordinate with manufacturing for quality improvements, handle customer complaints, and ensure conformity with ISO9001:2015 via document control and QA management duties.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, or equivalent.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
• At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the Quality Assurance & Technical Support department in its day-to-day functions.
• Ensure that the quality of the company’s product meet the customer’s specifications.
• Oversee the control, calibration and maintenance of all inspection, measuring and test equipment and any other equipment used to verify the acceptance of the materials/products in the QA department.
• Ensure satisfactory performance of inspection and test activities undertaken by QA department.
• Identify the training needs of QA personnel and take appropriate actions.
• Oversee product development and new direct material sample analysis within the company.
• Attend and carry out customer complaints investigations.
• Liaise with manufacturing department on product quality improvement and color matching for customers.
• As Document Controller and Assistant QMR, to ensure that the company continues to meet the requirements of the ISO9001:2015 Quality System.
• Overseeing the Mixing section in its day-to-day functions.
• Carry out any other specific duties as may be instructed or delegated by senior management from time to time.

You shall be primarily in charge of & be responsible for all aspect of execution and management of the QA Officer matters and affairs of the Company and if required, its subsidiaries.You shall carry out the below responsibilities which include, but not limited to the followings:
