An established industry player seeks a Procurement Officer to manage purchase orders and supplier relations. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will ensure the accuracy of deliveries and invoices, while collaborating closely with various departments to enhance operational efficiency. As part of a leading convenience store chain, you will play a crucial role in supporting business expansion and delivering value to stakeholders. Prepare purchase orders (POs), file and fax POs and related correspondence.
Arrange and circulate documents for signatories.
Follow up with suppliers on delivery status after issuing purchase orders.
Verify all invoices and delivery orders (DOs) to ensure goods received are accurate and in good condition. Monitor and track partial deliveries to ensure full completion within the scheduled timeframe.
Collaborate closely with requestors to achieve end-user satisfaction while minimizing company costs.
Update purchase request (PR) status records and PO records.
Match suppliers’ DOs with corresponding invoices.
Prepare payment requisition forms for Finance to process payments.
Compile records and distribute stationery, paper, and computer accessories to requestors on a monthly basis.
Manage office administration tasks including ordering and distributing pantry items, toilet rolls, letterheads, envelopes, etc.
Compile records and distribute business cards and position chops to user departments.
Assist with ad-hoc tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements:
Minimum Diploma or Degree in Business Studies, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; candidates with 1-2 years of procurement experience are preferred.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
Experience with SAP is an advantage.
