Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or higher in relevant fields.
• At least 2 years of experience in material planning or inventory control.

Overview

• To plan, receive, and monitor daily incoming materials (additives & packaging) to ensure a steady, uninterrupted supply of materials supporting production schedules.
• Ensure inventory & flow of materials (Additives & Packaging) are sufficient to meet production & operational needs while minimizing costs.

Details

• Develop & maintain material requirement plans (MRP) based on production schedules & forecasts.
• Monitor inventory levels, reorder as needed, and generate purchase requisitions to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Work closely with the production team to align material availability with production schedules.
• Coordinate with procurement & warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery and storage of materials.
• Maintain accurate records of material planning, usage, and procurement data.
• Organize monthly and annual stock takes and perform reconciliations.
• Input data into SAP systems – GMR, MR, MRR & MRS.
• Assist in identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Requirement

• Min Diploma or higher in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in material planning, inventory control, or store management (preferably in a manufacturing or production planning environment).
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing or just-in-time (JIT) principles.
