A financial services firm based in Penang is seeking an experienced individual to manage financial reconciliations and SST matters. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance, with 1-2 years of relevant experience. The candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, be proficient in SQL and Excel, and have the ability to meet tight deadlines. Immediate availability is an added advantage.
Handle bank and other settlement reconciliations accurately and promptly.
Manage the company’s SST (Sales and Service Tax) matters, including preparation and submission.
Oversee the E-Invoice system and ensure proper documentation and compliance.
Perform financial and scenario analysis.
Prepare monthly journal entries and assist in month-end closing and financial reporting.
Assist in audit preparation, coordination, and providing necessary documentation to auditors.
Process payments to relevant parties through electronic transfer in a timely and accurate manner.
Undertake other ad-hoc assignments as required by management.
