Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Coordinator

An Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Coordinator manages workplace safety and health. Their responsibilities include:

  1. Risk management: Identifying potential hazards, assessing their severity, and developing strategies to mitigate them.
  2. Emergency response: Developing plans for responding to emergencies and conducting safety drills.
  3. Policy implementation: Developing and implementing policies and procedures for occupational safety, health, and the environment.
  4. Training: Providing training to employees on safety and health issues.
  5. Safety culture: Promoting a safety culture in the workplace.

Requirements: Minimum of 12 months of relevant working experience, supported by an employment document from the employer. Education level of at least SPM or SKM. Successful completion of the OSH Coordinator Training Program organized by DOSH or an approved training provider.
