A leading company in the energy sector seeks an HSE Manager to oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance. Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Certified & registered Safety & Health Officer with DOSH (Green Book holder) is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; knowledge of Mandarin is a plus.

Job description

Responsibilities:

Ensure all work complies with HSE rules, regulations, procedures, and work instructions. Plan, manage, and maintain the implementation of an HSE Management System to promote quality, health, and safety performance, aligning with industry best practices and statutory requirements (e.g., OSHA, DOSH, DOE).

Execute HSE audits and inspection programs (internal and external) to ensure compliance with statutory regulations. Conduct daily monitoring and surveillance at the workplace to identify unsafe acts and conditions, and recommend and implement corrective actions.

Maintain detailed records and reporting on all HSE and waste management matters. Stay updated with changes in relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations. Perform ad-hoc work as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Salary RM2.2K and above.
  • Certified & registered Safety & Health Officer with DOSH (Green Book holder) is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; knowledge of Mandarin is an added advantage.
