Job summary

ARRK Engineering is seeking a passionate NVH FEA Engineer to join its growing team in Malaysia. You will perform advanced structural and vibro-acoustic simulations for vehicle systems, contributing to BIW, HV battery and interior/exterior components.

The role involves running, validating, and documenting complex analyses in a multinational environment. The ideal candidate has a degree in a technical field and experience with Nastran, Abaqus, LS-DYNA, and a strong analytical mindset.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical field (Mechanical, Physics, Civil, Applied Math)
• Experience with structural mechanics, FEA, and numerical simulations
• Experience in CAE, structural analysis, NVH, durability or related engineering disciplines is advantageous
• Knowledge of Nastran, Abaqus, LS-Dyna or similar tools is highly desirable
• Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving abilities
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Professional proficiency in English
• German language skills are an advantage but not mandatory

Responsibilities

• Support execution of technical simulation and calculation projects
• Perform linear and non-linear, static and dynamic structural analyses using CAE tools (Nastran, Abaqus, LS-DYNA)
• Contribute to vehicle development projects (BIW, HV battery systems, interior & exterior components)
• Work on projects including obstacle crossing, thermal expansion, misuse, idle speed excitation, wheel unbalance, noise and sound pressure levels, dynamic body torsion
• Develop, maintain, and optimize simulation models; launch and monitor simulations; analyze and document results
• Collaborate in a multinational environment

Job description

ARRK Engineering is part of the international ARRK group of companies and specialized in product development. Within the ARRK group of companies we implement product developments from virtual development to prototypes and small series production.

We are looking for a passionate NVH FEA Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will contribute to the development of innovative automotive solutions by performing advanced structural and vibro-acoustic simulations for vehicle systems and components.

Working in an international environment, you will be involved in challenging projects across multiple vehicle domains, collaborating with experienced engineers and supporting the development of next-generation mobility solutions.

YOUR TASKS

• Support the execution of technical simulation and calculation projects
• Perform linear and non-linear, static and dynamic structural analyses using industry-leading CAE tools such as Nastran, Abaqus, and LS-DYNA.
• Contribute to a wide range of vehicle development projects, including Body-in-White (BIW), High-Voltage Battery Systems, and Interior & Exterior Components.
• Work on comprehensive projects from including obstacle crossing, thermal expansion (interior and exterior parts), misuse (door/gate slam), idle speed excitation, wheel unbalance excitation, comfort noise and sound pressure level, dynamic body torsion
• Develop, maintain, and optimize simulation models; launch and monitor simulation runs; and analyze, interpret, and document results.
• Collaborate closely with a young, dynamic in a multinational environment.

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Civil Engineering, Applied Mathematics or a related technical field
• Interest in structural mechanics, finite element analysis (FEA), and numerical simulations, developed during academic studies or through professional experience.
• Previous experience in CAE, structural analysis, NVH, durability, or related engineering disciplines is considered a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of simulation tools such as Nastran, Abaqus, LS-Dyna, or similar software is highly desirable.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• German language skills are an advantage but not mandatory.
