Job summary

Atex Pharmacy in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, is seeking a Dietitian to join our clinical nutrition team. The successful candidate will provide medical nutrition therapy, assess patients’ nutritional needs, and develop personalized meal plans.

You will educate patients on healthy eating, monitor progress, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to integrate nutrition into care plans, while maintaining confidential records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant professional experience.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) or equivalent certification.
• Strong knowledge of human nutrition, food science, and medical nutrition therapy.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Proficiency in record-keeping and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical nutrition therapy and personalized dietary counseling to patients.
• Assess patients' nutritional needs and develop appropriate meal plans.
• Educate patients on the importance of nutrition and healthy eating habits.
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust dietary plans as needed.
