Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Participate in audits and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes.

Patient & Family Communication

• Act as a liaison between patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide clear communication and address concerns.
• Ensure patient education and discharge planning are effectively communicated.

Operational Management

• Monitor and manage OPD workflow, optimizing patient flow and reducing wait times.
• Assist in the implementation of operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
• Cover the role of Manager on Duty or Duty Nurse Administrator when needed.

Collaboration with Healthcare Team

• Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care plans.

Documentation & Reporting

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities, assessments, and reports.
• Prepare and submit reports on OPD performance, patient care trends, and staffing needs.

Resource Management

• Assist in managing medical supplies, equipment, and staffing resources within the OPD.
• Monitor and report any deficiencies to ensure uninterrupted patient care services.

EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS

Education

Diploma in Nursing or relevant nursing qualification.
