In charge of the operations of the assigned unit and responsible for managing all activities involved in planning, monitoring, and supervising the professional and nursing services rendered in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Responsible for ensuring a high level of nursing care is delivered in the most cost-effective manner.

Leads the team of critical care staff within the unit and is required to plan for staff development as well as participate in Nursing Education Programs.

Participates in clinical audits as required.

Maintains harmonious working relationships and creates a conducive environment for excellent customer service within the unit, collaborating with Medical Staff and other departments within the organization.

Job Requirements

SRN registered with the Nursing Board.

Diploma in Nursing.

Possesses a post-basic certificate in Critical Care Nursing.

BSc in Nursing is an advantage.

Sound knowledge of principles of Critical Care Nursing in a multidisciplinary setup.

Knowledge of principles of unit management.

Knowledge of recent developments in the nursing field.

Pleasant personality and motivated.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory position within a related nursing unit.
