Job description

We are representing our client, a healthcare provider specialising in senior care and rehabilitation. Operating multiple branches across Malaysia, with a particular focus on the Klang Valley, our client offers personalised nursing care. Their services include post-surgery recovery, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) treatments such as acupuncture, physiotherapy, and psychological counselling.

Job Description:

  • Ensures a safe and hygienic working environment by strictly following procedures, rules, and regulations, and seeks assistance from healthcare support personnel when necessary.
  • Performs a comprehensive range of registered nurse duties, including patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation. This includes tasks such as wound care, tube feeding, catheter care, and stoma management.
  • Accurately documents patient medical progress and treatment plans, maintaining up-to-date records of their condition.
  • Collaborates with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to address and resolve patient concerns and needs.
  • Assists with personal care activities such as toileting, bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding, ensuring patient comfort and dignity.
  • Provides mobility assistance as needed, including helping patients move in and out of beds, chairs, or wheelchairs.
  • Participates in patient and family health education, clearly explaining treatments and care procedures.
  • Escorts or transports patients to medical appointments and other essential outings.
  • Administers first aid and provides oxygen when necessary, before the patient is transferred to hospital care.
  • May be required to take on private home care assignments at the company's request.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Nursing or a related field
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills to effectively evaluate patient conditions
  • Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care, ensuring the dignity and comfort of all patients
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in maintaining accurate patient records
