Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
• Must possess a Post Basic Certificate in Renal Nursing (compulsory).
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in a related field (renal care or dialysis unit preferred).
• Registered with the Malaysian Nursing Board and possess a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a healthcare team.
• Basic computer skills for medical recordkeeping and reporting.

Job Description:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with the Centre’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and clinical protocols.
• Assess patient conditions and take appropriate actions in urgent or emergency situations.
• Ensure all assigned duties and responsibilities are completed according to organizational, departmental, and clinical guidelines, policies, and standards.
• Collaborate with doctors, medical officers, and other healthcare team members to ensure continuity and quality of patient care.
• Assist in patient monitoring activities, including recording vital signs, laboratory results, serology status, and dialysis progress.
• Support doctors during patient clinical reviews and manage the preparation of necessary reports and documentation.
• Collect and maintain accurate data for National Renal Registry (NRR) reporting, patient attendance records, and clinical statistics.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and training activities as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment for patients and staff.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Nursing Supervisor or Clinic Manager.
