Job description

Job Description:

  1. Manage the end-to-end process of product registration, notification, and renewal with regulatory authorities in Malaysia markets.
  2. Be well-versed with the requirements and development of local food regulatory licenses and applications, including but not limited to HALAL, HACCP, and others for the group of companies (FOSIM, FOSIM lab testing, FOSIM account registration).
  3. Act as the main liaison with Malaysia and international markets’ regulatory bodies (e.g., NPRA, FSQD, customs, MOH, JAKIM) to resolve non-compliance warnings and complaints.
  4. Lead proactive initiatives to update product labels in response to new regulations or market-specific requirements.
  5. Provide regulatory advice and support to internal teams such as R&D, marketing, corporate branding, and compliance.
  6. Monitor regulatory updates and communicate changes to ensure product compliance with new or revised standards.
  7. Maintain and update regulatory files, including Product Information Files (PIF), for internal and external audits.
  8. Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by superiors.
  9. Manage regulatory submissions to NPRA for cosmetics, supplements, and traditional products.
  10. Handle FSDQ submissions for packaged foods, beverages, and nutritional items.
  11. Ensure all labels, claims, and advertisements meet the compliance standards set by NPRA and MoH.
  12. Maintain communication with relevant government officers and external stakeholders.
  13. Assist in customer communication and external stakeholder engagement during the customer service process.

Job Requirements:

  1. Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree.
  2. Knowledgeable in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to manage confidential information professionally.
  5. Careful, disciplined, and a fast learner.
  6. Familiar with Quest3+ and food safety labeling guidelines.
  7. Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; knowledge of Mandarin is an advantage for Chinese-speaking clients.
