Job summary

A leading company in electronics manufacturing is seeking a Project Lead for New Product Introduction. This role involves managing projects from inception to mass production, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring quality and delivery standards are met. Ideal candidates should have a degree in a relevant field and at least five years of experience in an EMS environment, with strong project management and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years NPI experience in EMS manufacturing environment.
• Experience in project management, Engineering/SMT/Box build/EMS.
• Willing to travel internationally if required.

Project lead on assigned New Product Introduction projects through respective NPI gates until closure/handshake to Mass Production.

Lead the team to manage day-to-day issue/task during NPI

Manage the project schedules to meet deadlines

Provides coordination of international manufacturing transfer projects

Tracks and monitoring activities for each assigned task/project/activity

Drives cross-functional teams to ensure customer deliverables are met, including quality, delivery, and technical support.

Fast and minimum daily respond toward internal & external email / information / requirement / request / feedback

Provides support to technical staff in order to offer competitive services to customers.

Manage NPI documentation accordingly

Handles technical communications with customers in order to meet company objectives.

Assists KAMs on RFQ process and on new products’ cost hunt exercise (BOL) when requested.

Prepares and updates periodical reports (NPI reports, Project Review, KPI).

Assists in preparing any presentation to illustrate product knowledge/status / functionality to MYCOM and Management team.

Any other assignment given by the superior.

Job Requirement :

Degree in Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering.

Minimum 5 years NPI experience in EMS manufacturing environment.

Must have project management & Engineering/SMT/Box build/EMS experience

Require good interpersonal skills for effective communication at all levels, including with senior management, customers, suppliers and colleagues.

Require good leadership skills, highly motivation, work independently and willing to travel internationally (if request)

Knowledge with MS Words, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project.
