Celestica in Malaysia is seeking an NPI Buying Team Leader to drive strategic sourcing for new product development, lead supplier selection, negotiate costs and manage risk to meet project timelines and budgets. The role requires collaboration with R&D, engineering and manufacturing to ensure alignment with project requirements.

You will optimize the supply chain, monitor lead times and inventory, and ensure alignment with ECO changes and PO processes, while maintaining strong supplier

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in procurement or buying, with NPI procurement exposure.
• Knowledge of manufacturing environments and supplier management is preferred.
• Experience negotiating with suppliers and managing complex relationships.

Responsabilidades

• Lead strategic sourcing for NPI projects and manage part lists in CTB.
• Conduct RFQ assessments and plan procurement to meet build requirements.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks for NPI programs.
• Collaborate with R&D, engineering, QA and manufacturing to align strategies.
• Monitor ECO changes, PO supersede actions, and rework activities.
• Drive lead time reduction, inventory control, and logistics efficiency.
