About This Position
We are looking for a NOC Engineer to be a key player in the operations of our leading fintech platform.
The NOC Engineer will join the Network Operations Center (NOC) team and report to the NOC Manager.
The candidate will be responsible for monitoring and controlling our high transactionality platforms, networks, and IT Infrastructure, orchestrating incident resolution, and providing first-level service desk support.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring the network, transactional systems, and IT infrastructure to identify irregularities and maintain service performance and availability.
- Executing daily operational activities to manage IT services and infrastructure.
- Orchestrating incident resolution, managing communications with clients and internal teams.
- Conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA), ensuring thorough analysis within deadlines, and registering POAs for further resolution.
- Providing first-level support for service requests and incidents.
- Performing routine network and platform maintenance tasks.
- Proposing improvements for monitoring, incident management, and service desk support.
Qualifications
- Studies in Computer Science, Telecommunications, IT, or related fields.
- 3+ years of NOC experience in high transaction environments and 1+ years in incident management.
- Experience with at least 3 monitoring and visualization tools such as Grafana, DataDog, Nagios, Looker, Pandora, or PagerDuty.
- Motivation to build financial infrastructure in Latin America and reduce landscape complexity.
- Comfort with ambiguous goals and ability to drive clarity.
- Leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Proactive, problem-solving, and self-taught attitude.
- Analytical and research skills.
- Autonomy in executing tasks and driving continuous improvement.

Nice to Have
- Experience in the fintech industry.
- Knowledge of JIRA service management tool.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
