New Product Development (Coffee R&D) / Assistant Manager
- Create and enhance drinks menu that fill a niche in the competitive F&B market.
- Responsible to develop new coffee based on market trend, sales data, operation effectiveness and customer demography.
- Conduct idea generation sessions to initiate the creation of new coffee varieties that align with company goals and objectives.
- Establish costing information for new and revised formulation.
- Conduct comprehensive market and consumer research to identify emerging trends, technologies, and opportunities for new product development.
- Gather, analyze, and maintain product, market, and technology trend information and come out with feasibility report to ensure products are always viable and competitive.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, partners, and external resources to support research and development initiatives.
- Responsible for the upkeep of product SOP.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in F&B chain / retail or F&B product development (coffee-related industry will be an added advantage).
- Ability to conceptualize and execute new method development.
- Possess good sensory skills for product bench-marking and development.
- Good interest and knowledge in ingredient formulation and development.
- Computer literate - proficient with Microsoft Office & Excel, other relevant software and application.
- Good command of written and spoken in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels, internally and externally, in an effective and responsive manner.
