Job summary

An established industry player is seeking a highly experienced offshore installation QC Surveyor with a degree in Geomatics. This role demands a strong background in offshore installation processes, particularly in platform installation and pipe laying. The ideal candidate will possess 15 years of relevant experience, including significant involvement in risk assessment and quality control. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and acting as a Client Representative on various Oil and Gas projects. Job description

Tentative Schedule:
– Effective Aug 2025, 2024 for 30-45 days
– Effective Feb 2025 (TBC) for 25-35 days

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Has a Degree in Geomatics.
  2. 15 years experience in offshore installation (platform installation, pipe lay and subsea), including risk assessment processes and procedure reviews.
  3. 5 years’ experience with COMPANY projects / COMPANY Global Projects Offshore Installation Group as QC Surveyor is preferred.
  4. Experience as an offshore installation QC Surveyor working as Client Representative on Oil and Gas Projects.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and common E-mail systems.
  6. Must be able to obtain an industry accepted Basic Safety/Survival Training, Offshore Safety Passport, Fitness-For-Work including but not limited to the Alcohol and Drug Use Test carried out by a Company Appointed Medical Practitioner in accordance with the COMPANY’s pre-employment medical examination Requirements.
  7. Must have a valid or pass Background Check.
  8. Must have valid work permit and visa application from the Malaysian Government.
