New Job Opportunity – Electrical Engineer

Good day!

We are hiring suitable candidate for the post of Electrical Engineer.

Work Location: Onshore based– Miri
Open for Malaysian candidate, preferable Sarawakian.

QUALIFICATIONS:-
– Minimum BE or BSc in Electrical Engineering or higher qualifications.
– Registered as PE with Board of Engineers, Malaysia.
– Minimum 10 years working experience in design of oil and gas electrical generation and distribution systems as well as modification and major upgrading to existing systems.
– Member of local/International Professional Institutions.

WORKING EXPERIENCE:-
– A thorough knowledge of safety standards for electrical equipment deployed in hazardous areas is essential.
– Candidate should be knowledgeable and experienced in the use of codes, standards and practice applicable to the IP, IEC, IOGP and Shell’s DEP codes.
– Significant experience in the design, construction, commissioning and maintenance of electrical systems.
– Maintain close liaison with Electrical Inspectorate Unit (EIU), Sarawak and Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST), Malaysia.
– Experienced in of oil and gas operation, maintenance and execution.
– Fluent understanding and working knowledge of State and National Electrical Regulatory requirements, SMEP Electrical Safety Rules, HSSE and SP Control Framework.
