About the role

Xiangyu furniture manufacturing SDN. BHD. is seeking a talented and experienced System Administrator to join our growing team in Pontian, Johor. As a full-time System Administrator, you will be responsible for the efficient and reliable operation of our organisation's IT infrastructure, ensuring our employees have access to the tools and resources they need to excel in their roles.

What you'll be doing

Manage and maintain the company's servers, networks, and other IT systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime

Implement and administer security measures to protect our IT assets and data from cyber threats

Provide technical support and troubleshooting to users, addressing issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner

Continuously monitor and analyse system performance, identifying and resolving any bottlenecks or potential issues

Collaborate with the IT team to plan and implement system upgrades, updates, and new installations

Maintain detailed documentation and procedures for the company's IT infrastructure

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and recommend improvements to our IT systems and processes

What we're looking for

2-5years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT role

Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and network administration

Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues

Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and find creative solutions

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Certifications in relevant IT technologies, such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or CompTIA A+, are preferred
