Job description

Configure and troubleshoot switches, VLANs, and Layer 2 protocols.

Design and implement subnetting and IP addressing schemes across enterprise environments.

Support basic routing operations and assist in traffic segmentation and flow optimization.

Manage and monitor Out-of-Band (OOB) interfaces for network device accessibility.

Perform routine UNIX/Linux system administration tasks to support network services.

Maintain documentation of network architecture, configurations, and standard procedures.

Respond to incidents and assist with root cause analysis and remediation.

Required Skills:

Strong experience with switch configuration and Layer 2 technologies (STP, VLANs, trunking).

Solid understanding of subnetting, IP addressing, and routing fundamentals.

Hands-on experience with OOB network setup and management.

Familiarity with UNIX/Linux environments and command-line tools.

Knowledge of LT protocols (e.g., Spanning Tree, LLDP) and physical connectivity standards.

Troubleshooting mindset with strong analytical skills.
