WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION:

• Provide support and maintenance of computer networks, hardware, software, and related systems following industry best practices.

• Support LANs, WANs, Internet, and Intranet systems.

• Collaborate with AirAsia operations and monitoring users to identify potential issues and resolve existing problems.

• Responsible for disaster recovery operations, safeguarding data, software, and hardware from attacks, and replacing faulty network hardware components when needed.

• Analyze, isolate, and troubleshoot network issues.

• Resolve network performance issues related to availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency; plan and execute the installation, configuration, and testing of equipment; define network policies and procedures; establish connections and firewalls.

• Evaluate and improve system performance; propose enhancements to the network infrastructure, including hardware and services.

• Ensure network connectivity across LAN/WAN infrastructure meets technical standards.

• Maintain network services such as VPN gateways and intrusion detection systems.

• Upgrade network components by consulting with vendors; develop, test, evaluate, and implement enhancements. Monitor and analyze network performance, troubleshoot problems, and escalate issues when necessary.

• Secure the network by developing access controls, monitoring, and documentation.

• Maintain and troubleshoot wireless infrastructure within the office and remote locations.

• Maintain and troubleshoot Network Access Control (NAC).

WHO YOU ARE:

• Possess a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.

• At least 5 years of solid experience in network-related fields.

• Good verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia or additional languages is a plus.

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Network Administration and Engineering.

• Familiar with Cloud Network architectures (Google, Microsoft Azure, Alibaba, AWS).

• Knowledge of Cloud Network modules and configuration.

• Preferably experienced with Public Cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure).

• Self-motivated, able to multitask, communicate effectively at all levels, team player, and quick learner.
