The role involves configuring and managing Cisco routers and switches, providing network support services, and advising clients on network implementations. Ideal candidates should have a minimum of 4 years of experience and a good understanding of network systems and security measures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in configuring and administering network devices.
• Good understanding of network system, architecture, routing, and security.
• Network certification would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide network support services.
• Communicate with Client regarding network design implementation.
• Support Client's network based on agreed SLA.
• Provide change and patch management advice.
• Setup Wireless LAN Controller and devices.
• Upgrade Cisco switches and controllers.
• Conduct Wireless Site Survey.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Provide network support services
• Brief and communicate with Client for network design implementation
• Act as Support Engineer in reactively supporting Client’s network based on agreed SLA to ensure all incidents reported are resolved promptly
• Proactively provide change and patch management advice to Clients to achieve maximum network and system availability
• Setup Wireless LAN Controller and Cisco switches and router refreshment
• Switch refreshment & setup Cisco Access Points
• Upgrade all Cisco switches (Core & Access switch)
• Upgrade Wireless LAN Controller
• Installation and migration of Wireless technology
• Wireless Site Survey

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in configuring and administering routers and switches (e.g. Cisco routers and switches, etc), firewall products (e.g. CheckPoint, Forcepoint, etc.), F5 Load Balancers, AAA, NTP, IPS
• Good understanding of network system, network architecture, routing, switching, firewall and security
• Network certification would be an added advantage
