An established industry player is seeking an IT Infrastructure Manager to oversee and enhance their network systems in the APAC region. This role involves managing IT infrastructure, ensuring security compliance, and providing technical support. Role & Responsibilities:
• IT Infrastructure Management & Monitoring: Oversee all installed systems, including servers, storage, and backup solutions, ensuring their availability, performance, and security.
• Network Administration & Support: Provide operational and administrative support for Cisco network infrastructure, monitor performance, schedule upgrades, and optimize the network.
• Network Design & Implementation: Engage in network design, planning, and project implementation to enhance infrastructure.
• Troubleshooting & Incident Resolution: Diagnose and resolve network problems, outages, and system issues, while managing vendors to ensure timely resolutions.
• Coordination & Collaboration: Act as the primary representative and single point of contact for IT network topics in the APAC region, collaborate with global teams to drive alignment, strategy, and issue resolution, and coordinate with local stakeholders on network refresh planning.
• Security & Compliance: Perform system and security patch management, ensuring alignment with global IT standards and policies.
• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain IT documentation, inventory, standard operating procedures, and assist in creating technical documents.
• Technical Support & Service Desk: Provide 1st and 2nd level onsite service desk support and share technical knowledge with teams.
• Vendor & Pressure Management: Collaborate with external providers on SD-WAN and MPLS topics to resolve issues and manage high-pressure situations effectively to maintain system stability.
Role Requirements:
• Degree in Computer Science.
• Minimum 5 years in relevant field of experience.
• Working experience with routers, L2 and L3 switches, gateway and other networking.
• Certification in Cisco CCNA and ITIL is preferred.
• Pro-active and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Proficiency in English.
• May require travel when necessary.
