Network Analyst Role

The Network Analyst within the Connectivity SOM organization will work closely with the Technical Engineering Team and Support Partners, focusing on control and assurance, including validation, analysis, and remediation of data & alerts associated with Connectivity assets within central network tools and databases.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 5 years of telecoms experience with good technical knowledge in Cisco switching/routing technologies.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• Certifications such as CCT Routing & Switching, CCNA, or equivalent are advantageous.
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP and Cisco switching/routing technologies.
• Operational experience with ServiceNow (incident, request, and configuration modules).

Responsibilities

1. Analyze data and alerts from network tools and PowerBI reports.
2. Understand error types triggering alerts (ServiceNow, TACACS, network configuration, DNS, scanning issues).
3. Coordinate with support teams to remediate issues causing alerts.
4. Manage data quality exception registrations in ServiceNow.
5. Validate data quality exceptions against design standards and project documentation.
6. Verify project registrations with actual discovered data, including diagrams, site registration, CMDB, and discovery engines.
7. Ensure network device interface descriptions meet minimal standards and request changes as needed.

• Work hours: 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours for EU meetings.
