Job summary

DNV Energy Systems in Asia Pacific offers analysis and advisory services for offshore structures in the renewables and energy sectors. The engineer will work on static and dynamic analyses, fatigue assessments, and digitalisation initiatives within a multinational Floaters and Marine Operations team.

Open to graduates or engineers, the role focuses on developing analytical expertise, reporting, and project involvement with opportunities to advance to client-facing responsibilities and tender

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in naval architecture or offshore structures with relevant focus.
• Strong engineering fundamentals and team-oriented mindset.
• Proactive attitude with ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong communication skills for reporting and client interactions.
• Interest in developing programming/coding skills for digital twin initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Perform strength and fatigue assessments of floating structures.
• Contribute to delivery of work packages and small projects.
• Support tender and proposal preparation and client communications.
• Prepare technical reports and attend meetings.
• Develop and apply analysis models, both finite element and first-principles.

Education
