Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Malaysia is recruiting on behalf of a leading furniture manufacturer.

As our distinguished client's business is expanding, our client is looking for an ambitious and experienced National Sales Manager to join the team.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Expand revenue through new business channels and platforms, specifically shops and specialist stores in Malaysia.
  2. Ensure profitability growth in all projects.
  3. Maintain proper product displays and introduce new solutions and products to support top-line targets while aligning with brand strategy.
  4. Drive the business to meet profitability goals (EBIT).
  5. Develop sales strategies to achieve company sales objectives.
  6. Create business plans and sales strategies to attain company goals, profitability, and expectations.
  7. Provide direction to the sales team to achieve sales, profit margins, and collection targets.
  8. Maximize profitable volume growth, market share, and develop new distribution channels in the assigned market.
  9. Maintain contact with all dealers to ensure high client satisfaction, including managing, developing, monitoring, training, and motivating dealers.
  10. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethics, ensuring communication and implementation within the team.
  11. Collaborate with Marketing and E-Commerce teams for new product development and market execution to achieve financial goals.
  12. Travel frequently across the country to build rapport and mutual business relationships with customers.
  13. Ensure timely collection of debtors.
  14. Achieve sales targets.
  15. Ensure proper product display in the marketplace.
  16. Build and sustain a strong sales team in Malaysia.
Job Requirements
  • Strong people management and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising Management, Commerce, Digital Marketing, or equivalent from a recognized university.
  • 8-15 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Team player with strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Marketing 4P principles.
  • Ability to execute sales and promotional strategies.
  • Experience in the home furniture industry or consumer products is preferred.
  • Computer literate.
  • Experience in both B2B (Distribution) and B2C (Consumer) channels.
