As our distinguished client's business is expanding, our client is looking for an ambitious and experienced National Sales Manager to join the team.
Job Responsibilities
- Expand revenue through new business channels and platforms, specifically shops and specialist stores in Malaysia.
- Ensure profitability growth in all projects.
- Maintain proper product displays and introduce new solutions and products to support top-line targets while aligning with brand strategy.
- Drive the business to meet profitability goals (EBIT).
- Develop sales strategies to achieve company sales objectives.
- Create business plans and sales strategies to attain company goals, profitability, and expectations.
- Provide direction to the sales team to achieve sales, profit margins, and collection targets.
- Maximize profitable volume growth, market share, and develop new distribution channels in the assigned market.
- Maintain contact with all dealers to ensure high client satisfaction, including managing, developing, monitoring, training, and motivating dealers.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethics, ensuring communication and implementation within the team.
- Collaborate with Marketing and E-Commerce teams for new product development and market execution to achieve financial goals.
- Travel frequently across the country to build rapport and mutual business relationships with customers.
- Ensure timely collection of debtors.
- Achieve sales targets.
- Ensure proper product display in the marketplace.
- Build and sustain a strong sales team in Malaysia.
Job Requirements
- Strong people management and communication skills.
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising Management, Commerce, Digital Marketing, or equivalent from a recognized university.
- 8-15 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Team player with strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of Marketing 4P principles.
- Ability to execute sales and promotional strategies.
- Experience in the home furniture industry or consumer products is preferred.
- Computer literate.
- Experience in both B2B (Distribution) and B2C (Consumer) channels.
