A leading company in Malaysia's FMCG sector seeks a National Sales Manager to drive sales growth and manage a dynamic sales team. This role involves developing effective sales strategies, maintaining customer relationships, and enhancing brand positioning. We are subsidiary of a public listed company in the Malaysia Stock Exchange. Our business involves the sales and marketing of FMCG to the modern and traditional trade. In line with our continuous expansion, we require suitably qualified candidate to be part of our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all national sales activities and maintain relationships with key customers and retailers to drive sales growth.
Lead and manage the General Trade (GT) sales team including setting objectives and managing sales performance.
Develop, manage and execute successful sales strategies to achieve the overall company objectives.
Strategize, plan and execute brand initiatives/activities to enhance brand positioning.
Work closely with sales team and other stakeholders to drive brand awareness, generate leads, and support sales efforts.
Identify sales issues and develop effective sales campaigns to achieve sales and marketing objectives.
Improve in the sales operation process and sales structure to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of sales team.
Identify and recommend sales opportunities.
Manage the brand A&P budget and profitability effectively.
Liaise with principal, prepare monthly report and sales forecast.
Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration / Marketing / Food Science or related fields.
At least 10 years of relevant working experiences in FMCG industry.
Proven sales track record in sales management.
Strong networking in traditional and modern trade.
Digital savvy and proficient in MS office applications.
Proficient in English and Mandarin. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
