Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Penang, Malaysia seeks an NVM QRA Engineer in Global Quality to conduct electrical failure analysis and data analysis on next-generation 3D NAND memory devices, supporting product quality and reliability.

You will develop and oversee outgoing monitor plans, manage deviations in a high-volume manufacturing environment, and collaborate with R&D and Product Engineering to address reliability issues and drive corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Experience in test engineering and semiconductor manufacturing.
• Proficiency with Unix/Linux and programming (C, C++, Perl, Python).
• Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics is a plus.
• Experience with automated test equipment and test program writing/debugging.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work cross-functional.
• AI literacy to use AI-enabled tools responsibly.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and maintain test methodologies and coverage to ensure robust product quality and reliability.
• Provide release documentation upon qualification and set up plans to monitor quality in the HVM phase.
• Perform product failure analysis on rejects to identify failure modes and corrective actions.
• Assist and consult on post-qualification quality and reliability issues.
• Coordinate with R&D and Product Engineering to assess new reliability issues and testing impact.
• In a high-volume manufacturing environment manage deviations through structured risk assessments and data-driven dispositions.
