Job summary

Standard Chartered is seeking a Business Analyst for the Name Screening Process within Financial Crime Surveillance Operations in Kuala Lumpur. The role supports the Change portfolio from initial assessment through to implementation, working closely with Process Owners and Technology to ensure customer voice, strategic solutions and measurable benefits align with FCSO priorities and the Bank.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial crime risk management and controls.
• Ability to build business relationships with process owners and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills to assess data and risk indicators.
• Experience supporting change portfolios from assessment to delivery.
• Familiarity with data management, governance and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Keep abreast of market developments, technologies, best practices.
• Collaborate with CFCC, business units and risk teams to ensure alignment with strategy.
• Support name screening solution lifecycle from introduction to optimization.
• Lead meetings, track metrics and drive improvements in controls and efficiency.
• Assess new requirements and provide guidance on impact to screening systems.
