The role emphasizes cloud platforms (AWS/AliCloud/Azure), Linux-based troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of cloud technology experience (AWS/AliCloud/Azure).
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Experience in Linux environment analysis and troubleshooting.
• Experience deploying complex, reliable, scalable software in production.
• Familiarity with monitoring/automation and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Bridge between development and operations by applying a software engineering mindset to system administration.
• Escalate items judiciously and engage cross functional teams (Dev/QA/IT/Security) to resolve within the tech domain.
• Build resilience into applications/services so failures do not impact end users and influence teams to plan for rainy-day scenarios.
• Troubleshoot BAU issues and triage major incidents.
• Willing to work in BAU support model including off hours during standby for urgent matters/CR implementation support.
• Identify opportunities to eliminate manual and repetitive tasks via monitoring and automation.
• Continuously monitor service demand/capacity for discrepancies or spikes.

What You'll Do

• Bridge between development and operations by applying a software engineering mindset to system administration.
• Exercise appropriate judgment on escalation items and engage the relevant cross functional teams (Dev/QA/IT/Security/etc) to resolve within technology domain.
• Build resilience into the application/services so underlying system failures are handled gracefully and do not impact end users. Influence architect / development teams to always be thinking of the rainy-day scenarios.
• Troubleshoot BAU related issues and triage major incidents.
• Willing to work in BAU support model including off business hours during standby for urgent matters/CR implementation support.
• Identify opportunities to eliminate all manual and repeatable activities via meticulous monitoring and automation.
• Continuously monitor service demand / capacity for any discrepancies or spikes.

Role Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to build strong partnerships with cross functional teams to obtain buy-in.
• Ability to understand and assess various information from different source (technical, resource, etc.).
• Able to work collaboratively with and through others.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Cloud technology (AWS/AliCloud/Azure).
• Experience in Agile methodologies.
• Self-motivated, ability to multitask, interact with all levels of users, team player, fast learner.
• Experience with system analysis and troubleshooting in a Linux environment.
• Experience of build and deployment of complex and performant (reliable and scalable) software solutions in production.
• Administering of any of the listed is a plus: Artifactory, Jenkins, Git, ELK, SonarQube.
