We’re currently looking for a high-caliber professional to join our team as Transaction Capture Representative C05 (Hybrid) (Internal Job Title: Transaction Capture Representative - C05) based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In this role, you’re expected to:

The Transaction Capture Rep is an entry-level position responsible for providing analytic and administrative trade support, in coordination with the Transaction Capture team. The overall objective is to maintain position records and support processes surrounding securities.

• Receive and enter unit registry transactions in the registry system
• Receive and upload unit prices to the registry system
• Prepare payments files and cash instructions
• Produce, review, and send investor statements
• Produce end-of-day client reporting
• Reconcile cash movements and resolve issues
• Process and pay fund distributions
• Provide creative solutions to reduce errors and ensure adherence to audit and control policies
• Provide backup coverage for team members and assist during high-volume periods
• Issue monthly statements to investors securely via email or Victor Buck System
• Perform daily end-of-day reconciliation, confirming order counts by type
• Ensure proper completion of account opening forms, complying with Citi FATCA and CRS obligations, validating US Tax forms and CRS self-certifications
• Perform tax form validation and updates in TA system/FATCA engine
• Verify signatures to ensure authority for orders or requests
• Meet reporting deadlines as per client requirements
• Follow applicable Group Compliance policies for the TA role

Ideal Skills and Exposure:

• Strong knowledge of TA business, products, and workflow
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience
• Knowledge of operations for various funds including Hedge funds, Mutual funds, Unit Trust funds, Superannuation funds, etc., and related procedures and systems
• Flexibility to work in different shifts
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Availability for shifts at 5:30 am or 6:30 am (Australia shift)
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
