About the role

Neko Music Center PLT is seeking a passionate part-time Music Teacher to join our vibrant team in Kuching Division, Sarawak. As a Music Teacher, you will play a crucial role in nurturing the musical talents of our students and contributing to the growth and development of our music education program.

What you'll be doing

• Deliver engaging and effective music lessons to students of various age groups and skill levels
• Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans that cater to the individual needs and learning styles of each student
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students achieve their musical goals
• Collaborate with the music centre team to organise and participate in recitals, performances, and other music-related events
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
• Stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methodologies and industry trends to continuously improve your teaching practice

What we're looking for

• Relevant degree or diploma in Music or Music Education
• Minimum 2 years of experience teaching music, preferably in a private music school or studio setting
• Proficiency in one or more musical instruments (e.g., piano, guitar, violin, etc.)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and parents
• Creativity and adaptability to tailor your teaching approach to different learning styles
• Passion for music education and a genuine desire to nurture the musical talents of our students
