Qualifications

Job description

Manage full mushroom cultivation cycle: substrate prep, sterilization, inoculation, incubation, and harvesting

Reduce contamination and improve yield via standard protocols

Supervise harvesting, grading, packing, and cold storage

Train and lead farm workers

Keep accurate records of growth and yields

Troubleshoot diseases, pests, or climate issues

Support automation and smart farming tools

Work with management to enhance SOPs and production

Requirements

2–3 years in mushroom farming (especially grey oyster)

Strong in spawn handling, sterilization, and grow room control

Able to lead a team and work independently

Background in agri/horticulture/microbiology preferred

Understand hygiene and food safety standards

Communicates well in English (Bahasa Melayu or Mandarin a plus)

Passionate, hands-on, and committed to sustainable farming
