Job summary

Accenture Southeast Asia is seeking a detail-oriented Murex System Analyst to support risk and data initiatives within the Murex ecosystem. The role involves analyzing system requirements, supporting data workflows, and ensuring seamless integration between Murex and big data platforms such as Hadoop.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience as a System Analyst in banking or financial services, plus hands-on experience with Hadoop and strong SQL skills. Kuala Lumpur-based role.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a System Analyst in banking or financial services.
• Strong familiarity with Murex platform and workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Hadoop ecosystem.
• Strong SQL skills with experience in SQL Server 2012.
• Understanding of data analysis, data mapping, and system integration concepts.
• Experience supporting L2 production environments.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements related to risk and data analytics.
• Support integration between Murex systems and Hadoop-based data platforms.
• Work with developers, data engineers, and stakeholders to deliver functional solutions.
• Perform data analysis, validation, and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy.
• Assist in system testing, UAT support, and defect resolution.
• Provide L2 production support, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Prepare functional and technical documentation for system processes and enhancements.
• Ensure adherence to SDLC and change management processes.
