Job description

We invite suitably qualified applicants to fill the following vacancies:

1. Lecturer, Department of Media Studies

Possess a Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Mass Communication, Media Studies, Journalism, Broadcasting, Political Science, Public Relations, Film and Television or any related field.

Preferably with relevant teaching or working experience.

2. Lecturer, Department of Chinese Language and Literature

Possess a Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Chinese Language, Chinese Studies or related fields.

Expertise in: Ancient Literature (Pre Qin to Han Dynasties, Wei Jin to Tang Song Dynasties) and Contemporary Literature (creative writing experience preferred).

Relevant teaching or working experience is preferred.

3. Lecturer, Department of Information Technology

Hold at least a Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related disciplines, and a Bachelor's in Computing.

Teaching or relevant experience is preferred. Doctorate holders are encouraged to apply.

4. Multimedia & Visual Communication Lecturer, Department of Art and Design

Possess at least a Master's degree in New Media, Visual Communication, Photography, Graphic Design, or related fields.

Specializations include 3D modelling, animation, game design, UI/UX, web design, photography, video production, visual communication, or advertising.

Proficiency in English is essential.

5. Interior Design Lecturer, Department of Art and Design

Possess at least a Master's degree in Interior Architecture & Design.

Registered as an Interior Designer or Graduate Interior Designer with the Board of Architects of Malaysia (LAM) or equivalent.

Good command of English; proficiency in Chinese is an advantage.

Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Education is preferred.

Experience in postgraduate teaching and supervision is desirable.

6. Education Programme Specialist, Institute of International Education

Possess a Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

Responsible for advising international students on student pass and visa matters, coordinating with EMGS, and organizing related activities.

7. Secretary of Dean's Office, Institute of International Education

Possess a Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

Provide secretarial support, manage the Dean's calendar, and coordinate meetings and travel arrangements.

8. Software Developer, Computer Centre

Hold at least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT or related fields.

Experience in requirement analysis, technical design, development, testing, and support of campus systems.

Familiar with LNMP environment.

9. Executive, Marketing and Sales Department

Possess a Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

Valid driving license and willingness to travel are required. Excellent sales skills and experience in recruitment and education fairs are preferred.

10. Graphic Designer, Branding and Creative Department

Possess a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related discipline.

Conceptualize and produce branding designs across media platforms.

Experience in PC assembly, installation, and troubleshooting is an advantage.
