Job summary

Dekan Solutions Sdn Bhd, based in Kuala Lumpur, is seeking a Motion Graphic Artist/Animator/Multimedia Designer to develop video content and digital concepts. You will collaborate with the team and clients to deliver engaging visuals, with a focus on cutting-edge design and storytelling.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience in video and digital content, strong skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, and the ability to shoot and edit content as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in graphic, multimedia production, journalism, media studies or social sciences with video design training.
• At least 4 years experience in video and digital content development with strong graphic design and video production.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud: Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator.
• Experience in short-form storytelling using cuts, transitions, timing, and sound/visuals.
• Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with digital agencies is a strong plus.

• Assists in designing and execution.
• Selects, edits, and incorporates third party content (stills, footage, music, graphics, etc.) as needed. Shooting content where required.
• Retouches, corrects, and color-grades video and photo content.
• Working closely with the Creative Designer and Social Media team.
• Tracks new content trends and technologies to ensure that company output remains at the cutting edge.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in related field (graphic, multimedia production, journalism, media studies or social sciences) with relevant technical training in video and digital design and production.
• At least 4 years experience in video and digital content development, with strong capabilities in graphic design and video production.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator required. Any added software skills is an added advantage.
• Experience in short-form storytelling through various editorial techniques including cuts, transitions, timing and the effective use of sound and visuals to communicate.
• Strong time management and problem solving skills.
• Experience working with digital agency are strong pluses.
