A leading fintech company is seeking a creative Motion Graphic / Video Editor to join their marketing team in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves producing dynamic video content and animations that simplify complex trading concepts for various digital platforms and audiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio, proficiency in essential design tools, and experience with social media content creation.
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Motion Graphic / Video Editor to join our marketing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for producing engaging video content and animations that bring our trading platforms, campaigns, and financial education to life. You’ll help transform complex trading concepts into dynamic visual stories that resonate with global audiences across digital channels.
This position is ideal for someone with a passion for motion graphics, storytelling, and a solid understanding of what captures attention in a fast-moving fintech environment.
Video Editing & Motion Graphics
Edit short- and long-form videos for marketing campaigns, product promotions, trading education, and platform tutorials.
Create eye-catching motion graphics, intros/outros, animated titles, transitions, and infographics.
Produce social media content (Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikToks) with compelling animations optimized for engagement.
Creative Development
Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to storyboard concepts and visualize financial topics in a simple, appealing way.
Animate charts, user interface demos, and market insights into digestible and brand-consistent formats.
Support campaign launches, events, and expos with animated visual materials and highlight videos.
Brand Alignment
Ensure all video and motion graphic content aligns with Neex’s brand identity and messaging.
Apply consistent design styles, fonts, and colors across content pieces.
Adapt global content to fit regional markets (language overlays, subtitles, etc.).
Asset Management & Delivery
Organize and maintain a library of templates, assets, and project files for efficient workflow.
Deliver files optimized for web, mobile, and social channels across multiple formats and resolutions.
Meet production deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Diploma or degree in Motion Design, Multimedia Arts, Visual Communication, or related field.
2–4 years of professional experience in video editing and motion graphics.
Strong portfolio of past video and animation work (especially fintech or corporate content is a plus).
Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, typography, and transitions.
Experience editing for social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok).
Attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines.
Experience in the fintech, financial services, or trading industry.
Ability to animate trading charts, interface walkthroughs, or explainer videos.
Knowledge of sound design and video compression.
Familiarity with basic videography or 3D animation tools (e.g., Blender, Cinema 4D).
