We are currently seeking ambitious individuals to join our Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB) team in the role of Mortgage Specialist working together with colleagues to display HSBC Values and achieve Vision to become the world’s leading international Bank.

Responsibilities include:

1. Grow the Mortgage business, cross-sell retail banking products, and refer potential Premier customers to Premier Relationship Banker or Managers.
2. Consistently meet individual performance expectations and strive to achieve highest sales performance.
3. Lead the Personal Banking proposition to ensure opportunities are identified and customer needs are met effectively, maximizing all available resources.
4. Grow the customer portfolio by generating mortgage business and referring Premier and Wealth needs to the branch.
5. Work closely with the branch Primary Banker, Premier Relationship Banker and Managers to ensure continuous inward referrals for mortgage needs.
6. Ensure high standards of sales and service levels are met by providing excellent customer engagement and experience journey as per the bank’s standard.
7. Maintain accurate acquisition, updating, storage, and maintenance of customer information.
8. Meet the requirements of the Sales Quality Standards by minimizing errors and breaches.
9. Adhere to operational procedures within stipulated guidelines/regulations, audit requirements, compliance and other procedure manuals pertaining to the job.

Qualifications - External

A minimum requirement of SPM is needed for this role.

At least 1-3 years of experience in mortgage products in banks or financial institutions is required.

Proven ability in customer relationship management.

An understanding of the Mortgage, Advance and Premier Propositions.

Excellent sales management skills and understanding of customer needs.
