Job summary

Masimo Malaysia is seeking a Molding Process Technician to assist the Process Engineer in sustaining the injection molding line and supporting process development. The role involves creating manufacturing docs, developing fixtures, and assisting with E-Job startups and molded samples with engineers.

Candidates should have 1 year in production sustaining or NPI projects, basic electronics/mechanical design aptitude, and good data analysis skills.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in Production Sustaining and/or New Product Introduction Projects.
• Demonstrated skills in basic electronics and/or mechanical design aptitude.
• Ability to communicate in Malay (written and oral) and basic English (written and oral).
• Ability to perform basic data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support Process Engineer/superior in sustaining injection molding manufacturing line operational goals.
• Create manufacturing documentation required to support manufacturing, testing, and production operations.
• Create simple tools, fixtures, and jigs to support production operations.
• Support in Engineering Job (E-Job) start-up & support molded samples operation run with Engineer.
• Assist Process Engineers with various tasks necessary to support daily manufacturing operations.
• Initiate troubleshooting, root cause analysis and identifying effective solutions to production problems or NPI projects.
• Coordinate communication to Production Operators or Process Engineers on root causes analysis and findings.
• Assist Process Engineers in executing Continuous Improvement activity - Yield, Cycle Time improvement etc.
• Coordinate / request for supplier Quotation / Purchase order for New Equipment's, Fixtures and Tools.
• Support and perform validation activities (IQ, OQ and PQ) lead by Process Engineers.

Job description

The Molding, Process Technician is responsible for performing assigned technical tasks by Process Engineer or superior, assist with process development and generation of visual instructions and procedures, completes assigned duties on time, follows document procedures, and maintains compliance to established manufacturing documentation / practices.

About you
